Important!   The OPAC has changed.

Essentials to remember when using the new OPAC with its new book bag feature:

• To add a book to your book bag change the “No” to “Yes” in the Add to Book Bag Column on the screen. Then press Alt-U immediately to update your book bag. Updating the book bag each time is required to retain your changes!



• Our new OPAC allows you to choose whether a book is sent now or sent later based on our current book inventory and existing requests or reserves for your book in Philadelphia.  To ensure a particular book is sent as soon as possible you must change the “send later” option to “send now” while viewing the book bag. Books "sent later" will be placed on your request list, while books "sent now" will be placed on your reserve list. Don’t forget to press Alt-U to update your book bag before you check out.



• The new OPAC only requires you to enter your User ID and Password once when you check out.  To track your session it is important that you use the menu buttons on the OPAC screens to navigate. DO NOT USE THE BROWSER BACK BUTTON OR ALT-LEFT ARROW TO GO BACK A PAGE.
